I'm not sure why people wearing their own clothing is "imposing" something on American culture.

If I can't see who a person is by looking at his face, then I can't assume that person is not concealing something dangerous. This is not specific to Muslim dress. It's just as offensive for people to wear ski-masks and the like in general public.

I would suggest that bells ringing next to hotel rooms could be dealt with in a civil court, and I'd probably object to that scenario too.

I look back to the fifties and sixties with nostalgia because I was young and it was a fine period for me. When we went on a family trip to the south I was shocked to see segregated restrooms on the freeway. I much preferred sharing my puptent at boyscout camp with my best friend. He was black.

I don't think the riots in Watts and the like were an improvement on racial injustice.

I'm glad we agree that terrorists are intolerable. It's their stated goal to impose their law on us, and that's how I got to my statement.

I guess we're done.
