It gives us the power to make sure other countries don't acquire technology they can't responsibly manage. It's not a question of right or of hypocrisy. It's a question of ability and responsibility to humankind.

As I said, you will not like it if we lose that ability. The law of unintended consequences will come crashing down on your head and mine.
