Do you think the US can afford to stay in Iraq...? Who is going to pay for it...? Republican Senator Hagel wants our troops out of there (he actually served in VietNam unlike Bush and Cheney). Hussein, Hussein Hussama was right to begin with in regards to the Iraq war. He publicly came out against the US going to war in Iraq right at the outset. He does not have to say "..if I knew then what....yaadi yaadi yaada." Because of his international upbringing, he offered his stand on the Iraq war and he was right then. Based on his being right then, he is also right with his solution now. During Vietnam, the US regimes at that time continued to warn the American people that communism would spread worldwide if the US pulled out. Did that happen? Then what is the basis of your belief that the terrorists would get emboldened if the US pulled out of Iraq? Rather the Iraq invasion has brought headaches for the US by way of Iran well on its path to becoming nuclear. Lately, even Putin has come out strongly against "imperial America." Shades of what happened to Hitler's Germany before the outbreak of WWII, is it not? Hitler trying to conquer the world. It does not need a Obama to forsee the bankruptness of the US foreign policy. The American people saw that and expressed their resentment in Nov. 2006. Tell me the American people are unpatriotic!!!!!
