"If Prime Minister Howard truly believes what he says, perhaps his country should find its way to contribute more than just 1,400 troops so some American troops can come home," [Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs] said. "It's easy to talk tough when it's not your country or your troops making the sacrifices."

Now that's just funny.

Obama might give some intestinal fortitude (and media attention) to lagging DLC Dems.

From what I've seen so far, Hillary is having a very hard time making sense of her vote. They'll have to work harder and she'll have to take a much harder line than ending it in January 2009.

I'm not sure what it will do, but it's interesting. It's pretty tough to stop the Commander in Chief when he thinks he's King George.

Thanks,
