I LOVE liver
especially duck liver

gefilte fish though...

I used to go to the Newport Beach Jazz festival every year. Some jazz I like, some I think I will never, ever, ever like. But I am willing to give it a listen.

I have loved Bach all my life, and I don't like jazz at all- honest, I have tried. I find a lot of jazz very disorganized compared to Bach. The improvs are just TOOO out of the structure for me. It makes me very nervous!!
Bach is incredibly structured and mathematical- I know I will come home again without having gone too far afield.

I didn't know that about Bartok influencing bebop! I've never been a big fan of his- even though he says he's tonal, it's still too atonal for me.
My husband LOVES jazz. Our marriage has managed to last anyway.
