For some reason the FMSM seemed to neglect to cover the story the way it actually happened.

I've never been against fighting terrorism. I supported the invasion of Iraq. But the current administration appears inept in its efforts to fight a war. The WH listened to the likes of Rumsfeld and not Powell. The WH decided to invade Iraq with no plan for the aftermath. Bringing in Bremer was a mistake, disbanding the Iraqi army was a mistake. But the first mistake was the failure to finish the job in Afghanistan. The way the president has chosen to fight terrorism is creating more terrorists. Recall, most of the 9/11 attackers were Saudi Arabian, not Iraqi.
