That assumes that the character destruction is not equally great (if not greater) on the other side, of course... :-) Frankly though, it's beginning to look like the only real hope the G.O.P. has for winning in '08 is if Clinton is the candidate they get to run against.... (Are you sure you want to tilt against her so hard? If you knock her out, you might be knocking out the G.O.P.'s best hope for a win. :-)
