I think ALL the Republican Candidates, along with ALL the Democratic Candidates will be able to make that argument. Even Bush and Cheney didn't make "terrorism" a major reason for going to war with Iraq. They kinda added that later after all the "other" reasons lost their pizzazz...LOL The "idea" of getting rid of Saddam and creating a viable democracy in the center of the Middle East had some merit. The TOTALLY BOTCHED follow through did not. It is ludicrous to think Obama deserves the Democratic Nomination for President based on JUST his opposition to the War in Iraq while he was an Illinois Representative. If THAT were the case, then there are probably HUNDREDS of people in State Legislatures that should ALSO be up for the job. ONE issue candidates have NEVER fared well in Presidential Elections and I don't think this one will be any different.
