"They can have their own "courts" in church, but they cannot have courts that have the force of law here, in the US, where force of law means "force of the government". You just can't have that kind of entanglement in this country- unless we throw the constitution out."

The entanglements creak in with social agencies existing in association with courts that are granted the authority of binding arbitration. In addition, Judges frequently rule over custody battles in favor of the parent who agrees to raise the child according to the religious traditions of the family's history. IOW Entanglement already exists.

People HERE agree to submit to arbitration rather than going to court all the time.
