Not being a factor in custody battles is different than being a factor. In the cases where it is a factor, which I suspect is more than 1%,... Have you statistics on this?... the judge typically rules in favor of the parent who agrees to raise the child according to the traditions of the family's religious history.

"Frequently?" I would have said always but I wanted leave room for the exceptions, which are probably becoming more frequent.

I don't have data but I have been told repeatedly that the judge has ruled this way and have never heard of a case where the judge ruled against it... although there probably are some, especially in your region.
