<<How high is it?>>

We had 6" a week ago that was dry and packed down to about an inch. Never got slick. Tonight and tomorrow we're supposed to get a foot of wet snow with 35 mph winds. Will have some drifts. Now we have 4x4s so driving on the drive is no problem but the snow will turn to ice. It's 100' to get the paper and mail and I don't want to fall again.

Used to be clearing the snow with a blower and shovel was like a project. Now I can't see me doing that. I'm going to sign up next year for a guy with a plow to do the drive for $20 per snow. Then again I do have that 8N tractor with a bucket. A guy is supposed to put a heater in the engine so it will start in cold weather, it's 58 years old. Bucket in the front and a blade in the back, I may move some snow next year.
