"Believing" is one thing, being able to describe the actual steps that might convince someone that the goal can be accomplished is another.

What are your "beliefs" based upon? What is in your mind when you analyze the details and conclude that either of those strategies could work? How many men, how would they proceed, what tactics might work?

Or do you simply "believe," the way some people believe in miracles, good things happening and "where there's a will there's a way?

I've pointed out the difficulties in the "clear out the insurgents" and "cut their supplies" approaches, giving logical, refutable reasons and opinions. I'm waiting to be convinced that your view has some basis in reality.

If all you have to add, however, is that you "believe" then I'll agree; you "believe." Ed
