Here is a series of articles focusing on NG and a few others with the mega projects. Not sure if you have seen this or not, but thought it was interesting. The linked article is Part 3, with links to Pt. 1 & 2.

Certainly a different perspective. I will use some of the concepts: discount rates, average metal price and cost contingencies while evaluating other projects.
