SPY opened up early today, I have no idea why

I don't trade GLD but I do trade SPY from time to time.

SPY opens at 0700 ET every trading day. Agan, every trading day. Some days, no trades are recorded until 0705 or 0710 but it's open and available to trade at 0700 New York Time.

One more time for you slow ones.

And one more time for you who can't read. I don't give a shit what the NYSE says, GLD, SPY, DIA, and every other major ETF has traded prior to the 9:30 open for years.

from Jack of All Trades:

Since he has me on ignore, tell him to show a 60min chart with "all sessions" checked in his Qcharts... This will show him PM/AH data...
