SONOMAX ANNOUNCES ANOTHER HEAR ATLAST HEARING STORE IN WAL-MART

Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc.'s retailer's hearing aid retail chain owned by Hearatlast will open its fourth store inside the Etobicoke Wal-Mart today. Hearatlast is a division of the Atlast Group of companies whose chief executive officer, Matthew Sacco, obtained the licence to operate in Wal-Mart Canada stores and Supercentres, making Atlast the first company to embrace the concept of affordable and accessible hearing aid centres in Canada. The stores feature a full line of affordable accessible hearing aids which include Vitasound's proprietary patented hearing aids as well as Sonomax's flagship hearing protection devices. Vitasound is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sonomax Hearing Healthcare.

Said Sonomax president Nick Laperle: "The Hearatlast stores are not only giving Sonomax the opportunity to showcase our unique expansion technology, they are also providing us with invaluable customer feedback. Already in the works as a result of these inputs, product improvements, adjustment of features and ease of fitting, all with a view to widest possible customer acceptance.

"The exercise is also providing Sonomax with valuable information about refinement of its macroplan, a model to secure meaningful market share in the multibillion-dollar worldwide hearing aid market with on-the-spot delivery to consumers of affordable state-of-the-art digital hearing aids."

Said Robert Oswald, Hearatlast's president: "Now that Sonomax has expanded its Sonoplatform product offerings to include Bluetooth devices and custom earphones for MP3 players, Hearatlast has the opportunity to be known as the everything ears store. Along with the retail experience of Dr. Randy Lacey, Hearatlast's COO, the stores will become reference points for a new paradigm in hearing health care."

Hearatlast confirmed that more stores will open across Canada in the next 18 months and all stores will sell Vitasound and Sonomax products.
