Contrary to popular opinion, the markets have generally done better under democratic administrations. By default they follow republican administrations...wind at the back effect again. And of course by default republican administrations follow democratic administrations...they start off into the headwind of democratic economic policy. Nothing surprising here.

You are a socialist because you want to share the wealth of other folks with the great unwashed while always complaining that bad ronnie didnt give you a share of the tax break you think fair. Keep your hands out of my pockets Kate. With your money, do what you want. As far as clinton goes, i have few complaints on the economic side. I blamed bush for enron and clinton for wcom if you go back to that post. And i blame neither personally--just some imperfections in their admins which is normal because unlike geode most of us are imperfect and crafted that way intentionally by the good lord or genetics--take your pick. (g) PS i am not mad at you. Just trading some barbs.
