Since Reagan issued plenty of debt, did a lot of spending, and now you say he increased taxes consistently, does that make him a "debt, tax, and spend conservative?"

By Jove, I believe you're correct! :o)

You came in at an opportune moment. As we all know, government spending is stimulative to the economy. But consumer spending is 2/3 of the economy. Consumer spending is far more important and any tweaks in tax rates from year to year are tiny wrt consumer spending as a total.

Now let's consider consumer debt which directly affects consumer spending and instantly. ST sent me this....

I think when it comes to economic policy, the difference between the DNC and GOP is:

DNC->raise taxes and take from the super rich and give to the regular rich and upper middle class.

GOP->issue debt and give to the super rich...well this is not quite true; they also take from the rich and the super rich, but it is in the form of campaign contributions.
