What I meant was that during Vietnam, the Administration at that time resisted and tried to sell the idea that if the US pulled out of Vietnam then Communism would spread throughout Asia.

Now the Administration is saying a similar thing. Even the Australian PM who has committed only 1400 troops is saying the same thing.
