And yes, I voted "against death" when I voted for change in 2004 and 2006.

How exactly did you do that?
Your party won in 2006 and I don't see any real changes happening.

"Finally, where does the accusation about partisanship come from?

You have used the term 'We' as one that places you into a group of like minded folk more than once. When it is uncomfortable you proclaim your viewpoints as independent.

Others have illuded to you as a very articulate, well mannered and knowledgeable spokesperson from the left, partisans from the left have generally jumped on those comments in agreement. I can't disagree that you are informed and articulate, although you do sometimes load your position with deriding comments like ..." flower child gibberish???"

"Rough cut, your big picture view of the Iraq war is what? I have to ask because you post drivel like this:"

I have posted a great deal on my general outlooks regarding Iraq and on specific observations. I have posted quite a bit of that to you personally. I find it interesting that you are uncomfortable with my comments on principle and suggest that I've said nothing else.

I don't feel like writing another essay on Iraq or to review all of my previous posts right now but if you have a question that is more pointed regarding the 'big picture,' I will happily give it my consideration.

Hi Ed.....You are just spinning your wheels to talk cost/benefit analysis to the average Republican since these people EMBRACE DEFICIT SPENDING so willingly.

I just can't get a handle on their thinking. Not to mention how they can continue selling themselves as the party of fiscal restraint!!!

I don't know how in the world republican voters don't get tire of being on the wrong side of things?

Can Brumar or anyone else on the right show me one thing the R's have claimed or promised that has come true? You can start with the claim that Clinton's tax increases will kill the economic recovery that was taking place.
