Last night the house started vibrating. One could feel it all over. It turned out the sleet had almost frozen the heat pump and the whole thing was vibrating outside.

Joe shut it off and called the repair men. They didn't even come out. Told him what to do over the phone. Wasn't that nice. I guess the whole area had frozen heat pumps. We switched it to emergency heat for the evening and Joe defrosted it this morning. We can still feel it but it is a much smoother 'feel', and only in the upper room right near to it. I can usually feel it smoothly here anyway. I suppose we will get it serviced in the Spring just to keep it happy and running smoothly.

We don't usually have that much sleet, so IF there is a next time we will just cover it and switch on the emerg heat until the storm is over.

Happy Dance here... it is a GOOD Valentine's day!! :)
