As I understand it, Wolf Spiders, are 'relatively' harmless. Every now and then here in Ohio we will get a huge wolf spider walk across the family room floor. Unfortunately for him/her I have not been able to bring myself yet to pick them up and toss it outside. I read that they are venomous, but not lethal... I am not in to dealing with venomous....

We live in a tri level and I believe they squeeze out of the little door into the basically sealed off area under the middle floor (main floor).

I just put up with the chance I will have one or two a season rather than spray.

When we first moved in here we had multi centipede types and I did spray. I don't know what the other people did... they left them for us... yikes... we get almost none of those now..they prolly come up from the heater drain in the lower level. I am not fond of them... they have more of a warrant for arrest on their heads than wolf spiders do :)
