That's very interesting. I've often wondered how Greenland got its name.

"For example, about 300 years ago, the Earth was experiencing the ''Little Ice Age.'' It had descended into this relatively cool period from a warm interval about 1,000 years ago known as the ''Medieval Climate Optimum.'' During the Medieval Climate Optimum, temperatures were warm enough to allow the colonization of Greenland. These colonies were abandoned after the onset of colder temperatures."

An interesting read concerning Norse colonies in Greenland that were abandoned during the Little Ice Age.

"Global climate cycles of warming and cooling have been a natural phenomena for hundreds of thousands of years, and it is unlikely that these cycles of dramatic climate change will stop anytime soon. We currently enjoy a warm Earth. Can we count on a warm Earth forever? The answer is most likely... no."

What impresses me about these articles is their absence of political bias and the factual presentation of evidence. It scares me to think that the nation as a whole thinks of Al Gore as the most knowledgeable resource of information in the area of Global Warming, which I'll admit for me has a political bias.
