Sounds like a typical boss to me. This guy is going up the river, IMHO. But, his stonewalling has saved this administration. Wait until he finds out that Bush's promise of a pardon was a whopper right up there with "we'll fire anyone who revealed Valerie Plame's name."

Is having a chronic bad memory a plausible reason for lying to an investigator? Was he in treatment for this serious problem?
did he frequently need assistance in locating his car? did he forget where he lived and have to be brought home by security?
I just cant see someone in his position surviving having a poor memory, unless its indeed a selectively poor memory. I dont know why they didnt prosecute him for what he actually did-putting a cia agent in harm's way.
