I agree with you regarding Mormon's that I know. I have a hard time with some of their beliefs, it doesn't matter to me because they are good people.

You don't have to defend him. Every Mormon I've ever met has been about the most honest and trustworthy person your likely to meet. That's why I find the talk by the press so flabbergasting. I guess I should just consider the source. I'm sure his being a Mormon would be a non issue were he a Democrat.
