Your attitude on second hand smoke seems completely reasonable. Smoking in a private office or room should be a person's own business...and I really don't have a problem with restaurants or bars declaring themselves to be smoking or non-smoking...but the problem is when patrons enter an establishment expecting one kind of environment and then end up with another. I still don't like a lot of regulation in these areas, but smoking (because of the inherent nature of the activity) lends itself to some kind of rules...
