That's a tough one because it entails so many things. From Roosevelt's New Deal legislation to the government's enforcement of Brown v. Board of Education to Bush's secret spying programs.

I find myself very ambivalent about a lot of things that have happened in our country, so I won't try to figure out what a brilliant man like Jefferson might think about all the issues we've faced.
