Which convention is first in 2008? If the dems are first and nominate Hil, the repubs will have a choice of nominating a second New Yorker and losing an opportunity to portray Hil to the rest of the country as an eastern elitist liberal, or nominating someone from the heartland/south and appealing to the rest of the country. Do you think they'll take the former just for the sake of trying to deny NY to the dems? Don't think so.
