How does local government squandering away their excess cash received the past couple of years play into this? Excess receipts in many cases double what it was in 2002-03 but also excess spending and misallocation of capital same like on the federal level except most states and municipalities don't need to borrow these days..

We may well have real deflation 5-10 years down the road after inflation gets so bad that it starts to hurt the ruling elite on balance.
