re: Most people in America who think Israel is being the aggressor are the ones who make up for their lack of historical knowledge with what CNN reports at the moment. And CNN spends a lot of time presenting the Palestinian point-of-view, which IMO is very revisionist and selective in its presentation of the facts.

You have no clue what the rest of the world thinks. CNN is an Israel cheerleader compared with the world press.

You need to get out of your provincial mindset.

Ted, > All nonsense........I listen to CNN. ... Zeev is making this up ...

I have seen instances where Zeev has gone off the deep end, but those are in areas completely unrelated to Israel.

Ten, why are you dumbing down? If Zeev goes off the deep end on other things, why would he not go off the deep end with Israel? In any case, most of his post was a manipulation of the facts or an outright lie.

I have also seen instances where CNN reports stuff that is completely made up. Most people in America who think Israel is being the aggressor are the ones who make up for their lack of historical knowledge with what CNN reports at the moment.

Ten, we all watched last summer as Israel systematically went about destroying Lebanon. Now I know you have erased that from your memory banks because Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers and somehow made that rather minor act equal to the wholesale destruction of another country. Nonetheless, that is a prime example of Israel's aggression. In fact, Israel frequently has been the aggressor. It happens to be a very militaristic state.

And CNN spends a lot of time presenting the Palestinian point-of-view, which IMO is very revisionist and selective in its presentation of the facts. (I'm not accusing CNN of being biased; they're just trying to present both sides of the story, even though I find one side to be less credible than the other.)

That's what news medias are supposed to do.....present both sides of the story. Fox doesn't do that; that's why its a cult favorite among righties.

Bottom line is that I have no reason to doubt Zeev's version of history, even though he is undoubtedly biased in favor of Israel. But I do have a reason to doubt your version of history, especially since you are unrepentant in your ignorance of everything that has happened after the formation of Israel.

What a crock.....do you honestly think I am buying this latest crap you are selling? I have provided this thread with innumerable links supporting the view I have of Israel. Often Elroy echoes that view. Meanwhile Zeev provides you with nothing. Yet, you are too quick to believe him over me. Sadly, your MO is very transparent.
