We could probably go several weeks on what we have stored. The biggest problem is the sewage system backs up if there is an extended outage - with the pumping station out, there is nowhere for to sewage to go.

When I anticipage a huge outage, I can fill clean garbage cans full of water in the basement. Since I have a pump hooked up to the inside system, I can pump that water into our plumbing at will. But that doesn't do much good without the sewage system working.
