...Furthermore this previous analogy (smoking ban) really is what should be serving the higher purpose of the legalization of marijuana; Is the societal cost of prosecuting drug users more than cost of personal choice? If the answer is yes then the plant needs to be in some way legalized. If the answer is no then we need to start thinking about outlawing all public consumption of alcohol or perhaps even changing the constitution again for the third time. I mean...there is no MEDICAL reason to keep alcohol legal other than as a disinfectant. No?
