I agree. I have also observed that some of the bad brings out some of the worst in reaction/over reaction. Those who are here are, for the most part, benefitting from new opportunities and lifestyles not available where they came from. Those of us who were here before are, for the most part, benefitting from our new associations. Some of that benefit is filtering back to the cultures of origin and that is a tremendous opportunity for reparation, change and renewal; which is of course good. When we emphasise the bad we sometimes give it more legitimacy than it deserves, and destroy opportunities for the good.
