I think that the Republicans will have to look at not running the people who are deserting the party at this time. I don't know if that is possible, but inviting them to explain at nomination meetings why they turned their backs on American Troops might be a good way to start. Is it possible to Email them to invite them to explain that position?

Isn't it interesting that re: the Dems who voted to approve the Iraq War in 2002

They approved the war.
They approved every three and four star General who was promoted to conduct this war.
They approved Petreaus.
They approved numerous money bille to support the war.

Now thay want us to believe they support the troops, they just don't support the plan.
The plan was written under Petreaus' giudance. he approved it and briefed it at his confirmation. Yet they approved him anyway.

How the hxxx is today supporting the troops? What troops do they support and how are they supporting them?

Is Petreaus not a troop?

Not a bit surprizing at all.

Typical Dem reaction. They begrudgingly voted for the war so as to not be caught of the wrong side of a hot bed issue at the time. But, soon after the fervor began to wear off the anti-war rhetoric started heating up. First out of the gate was Cindy Sheehan, followed by the usual cast of Congressmen.
