I have about ten percent of our total family net worth in uranium, so I am not missing the boat at all. I won't mention exact amounts, but it's twice as much as I originally paid for our house.

I have approximately the same amount in DBA, the agricultural commmodites fund, and about twice that much in the bear market funds. The rest is still in Canadian royalty trusts, especially COS.UN, qand a scattering of oddities, such as Gamehost, GH.UN, the company that owns the only casino in Fort McMurray and also hotels and restaurants.

"if there is a market crash and everything takes a bath"

not everything...real money won't so hedge an equal amount that you have in shares with physical silver and gold, never have cash in the bank that you aren't using. Gold will do a moonshot in a market crash because the fed would need to drop rates and thus the USD will tank. Silver will do a shot to Mars. Thats what I do. I see nothing to stop gold from hitting 1200 within 18 months.

Even though the world will still need Uranium, almost every Uranium stock could get clobbered except for CCJ. Most of these stocks have little institutional following. Pension funds which have money comming in every week will buy Intel INTC, Exxon XOM, Newmont NEM, and Genetech DNA. Then they may look at second and third tier stocks energy and mining stocks like DVN, EOG, CRZO, TXCO, PAAS, SSRI, PAL, etc.

Small uranium stocks aren't on the list - otherwise the prices would already be much higher.

We are getting these bargains because very few other investors are interested.

This will change with time, just like it has with energy and metal stocks.

But right now, this like 1999 was for energy stocks - most of the world isn't interested.
