We saw the first season and liked it so much we asked about the newer sets. The library didn't have them, but bought them on our recommendation, bless their hearts. I think there are four or five episodes on each DVD, and each series has two or three DVDs. We got two more series after the first, and I think that's all of them. The program really makes me long for a small, close-knit community the like of which we have few in America. I know they are probably just as rare in Ireland or Britain, but it's fun to dream. The characters are scalawags of various levels, all with different redeeming qualities. The main character is a young priest. The main female character is the owner of a pub where everybody hangs out. The priest is often found in the pub, so take it from there.
