Took out all the "T" words, and most of the posts with the "T" word in it....but here are 3 that represent the group so far. Looks like we aren't the only ones who are more than peeved.sweetness-light.com >>>>> wirenut February 16th, 2007 at 8:12 pm OK ,SG , and others. Like staff after a really bad vote. <<<<<< >>>>> doingwhatican February 16th, 2007 at 6:20 pm This should be the last term for those who voted “yea” on this gutless resolution. They were elected to serve the American people, not al-Qaeda. Denying additional troops greatly endangers our military already in Iraq. The morale of our troops in the field will also take a big hit. This is one of those days in American history that will have to be lived down by us all. We didn’t do enough to stop these XXXraitors. It’s now quite clear what “going to hell in a hand basket” means. Is there anything Nancy can do that President Bush can’t veto?<<<<< >>>>> amber February 16th, 2007 at 10:43 pm This past Wednesday, my Pastor was all fired up and very angry at our government for not standing with the soldiers. I really thought she hit it on the head, when she quoted, “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 She spoke about the soldiers laying their lives down so others can be free and she questioned what those who do not support this stand for, what love do they have? I home school my children and my 8 year old just got done learning about the importance of the Magna Carta and how it changed the way governments were run. I know our founding fathers had it in mind when they framed our constitution and I wonder what they would say to our leaders now. Our leaders are supposed to be under the same law as we are, but they are not. They waste time and money, our money, on things that carry no weight. Doesn’t anyone see what a collossal waste of time a non-binding resolution for something they are not even in charge of is? It’s only purpose is to undermine our President’s authority. By doing that, they weaken our country. I believe, if we bring them back to having to abide by our laws, this stuff would not happen anymore, they will be too busy trying to fix social security because they will be paying into it finally and having to rely on it. They would be trying to come up with a better plan for Medicare because that would be their plan. They would not have time to play the games they are playing. Who ever let congress become some sort of elite club rich people strive to be a part of? When did they stop serving the public and start serving themselves? Why do people keep voting them in office instead of throwing them in prison for their numerous crimes? William Jefferson, cash in the freezer; Mary Landreau, refusing to alow the red cross into LA to help rescue people; John Kerry, torturing innocent vietnamese; Nancy Pelosi, giving tax breaks to her constituents and only hers; Ted Kenedy, leaving a woman to die and drunk driving; Bill Clinton, breakig his oath of office to uphold the constitution; Sandy Burger, stealing secret documents from the government; Cyntia McKinney, assaulting an officer. There are so many, too many. <<<<<<<<<<<
