You are correct, if I understand you correctly-lol.

I think the controversial theory, is set theory. I do not believe it.

Tell me then, is it true that it is the same chance to get 50 heads in a row, as one?

I can tell you the chance of getting 49 heads in a row, and then getting another head is let me see, 0.25 ^ 50. I will admit rather sheepishly that if you divide 0.25 ^49, by 0.5^50 that you get two.

So is it twice as likely to get 49 heads in a row as it is to get 50?

I am working on that two.

One head is 1/2 two heads is 1/4, three heads is 1/8, four heads is 1/16... but to throw any head is 1/2.. but to throw 5 heads in a row is 1/64.. So is it 1/2 or 1/64 chance of a head on that fifth throw of you have already thrown 4 previous heads....

It is both and every gambler has to know that..

What are our chance of finding a mine? They are one. as we have already found three. Perhaps more. I even used to live beside several. They can't be that rare. But if we go out in the bush to find one, cold so to speak, (and it is very cold in Canada finding mines in the bush right now) then what are our chances? I will tell you. 50-50. We either find one or we don't.
