You guys are overplaying the 'religion of peace' angle, don't you think? I mean Christ is referred to as the Prince of Peace and look at the historical slaughtering done by Christians. We don't have to go very far back either. Look at the Christian Serbs attempted genocide of the Bosnians. It really amuses me to see you people deriding Islam and Mohammed the way you do. If even 10% of the weird stuff that's in Christian scriptures was in Muslim scriptures, you people would go nuts. I was thinking of this this morning when Jtmab was talking about circumcision. God made his entire Covenant with Abraham based on that little piece of foreskin. From that event flowed the entire history of God's relationship with the Jews and the early Christians. Can you imagine if that instead had been the foundation of Islam?
