Interesting. No, sadly, I was thinking of the abortion scenario because in '06 5 guys don't need leave town, and school life remains relatively normal for the girl. The same could be true if she keeps the child in '06, which happens. Obviously the abortion in the scenario as written will override here for most including me of course. Yet this aspect of the scenario hardly seems fair and my initial spontaneous reaction was to think of an abortion in both years. I realize I'm changing the scenario here, and I apologize, but it seemed immediately reasonable. Once one starts comparing apples with apples I think, as a reformed anti-abortion and now pro-choice guy, '06 seems better to me.
