Dear Etchmeister:

if you use it when you were caught doing 110MPH in a 25MPH residential district or a 15MPH school zone with lots of kids playing outside.
No kids got hurt because of volume discount...

Tell that to your kids after a car passes them at 110MPH while they are standing two feet away. Tell that to a bunch of moms that going 110MPH past their kids is ok because speeding was "normal". Tell that to yourself when you were passed by at 110MPH when shoveling out snow at the end of your driveway. You would be screaming for the driver's head. And if your the driver, the moms would want you to be forced to stand halfway up a banked turn of the track during the entire race of the Daytona 500. You weren't hurt by the volume discount of cars passing you at 180MPH.

As for no kids being hurt with volume discounts, tell that to the kids whose parents lost their jobs because of the predatory pricing.

BTW there are other ways beside pricing

The Robison-Patman law specifically forbids those too. Look it up.
