Well, Mq....I am glad we had the grit, as well as the steel, as I think we are VERY lucky in the US that we didn't live under Japanese rule, nor that of Hitler....Europe and the rest of the world would be an entirely different place if we hadn't helped rid thw world of Hitler and his marching minions.

Didn't you think that Europe tried hard to "discuss, cajole, placate, appease, negotiate, and anything else" that Chamberlin and group tried.....

By golly, Hitler was soooooooooooo impressed with all the European bowing and scraping he went into Austria, France, and anyplace he dang well pleased....

We must have lots of folks in America and the world, who are offspring of those appeasers....
