First of all, it isnt all moslems in england but those particularly from the south asian community. I remember back in the 60s that Paki-bashing was a favorite pastime in england. These are the sons and daugthers of those folks and it is no secret that discrimination in england still exists. Same for turks in germany and algerians and africans in france. US may be wide open and our immigration laws are constantly abused but what it creates is a society where 9/11 types do not originate. Now back to England. What do you do? Do you follow the FDR policy of internment of all muslims, of all south asians?? Opening up the society cant happen fast enough so the Brits and other Euros have a major problem in-country. And to be fair i ask the same question of RCG? What to do with muslim extremists without resorting to anti-freedom measures.
