Ilaine, it's perfectly reasonable for people in Kansas to kill invading New Zealand soldiers who have flown in and started blowing people up, shooting your children or gassing them. How do you think that should be treated as murder?

It would be murder for New Zealand soldiers to invade New Hampshire, kill locals, annex it and steal the Libertarian philosophy they have tried to get going there, taking it to New Zealand.

If Americans come here to convert me to their ways, steal my oil and rape my daughters. or shoot them, it's not murder for me to kill the soldiers.

It's quite amusing watching Americans unable to comprehend their own crimes against humanity. When they do it, it's "Oh well, collateral damage and all that. Things happen in war. It's a fog. Can't take any chances. Bad luck kids. You should have been less Gooky and not wearing towels on your heads."

If Saddam or Osama does it, it's shock, horror, omigod. If American ears are used as baubles on string as a necklace, it would be considered terribly evil. If Americans wear gook ear necklaces, it's good for body counts. Body counts to see how many were saved from the scourge of communism.

<The Haditha trial will happen, and then what happens there is what happens there. I cannot predict and will not guess.>

Tim McVeigh was executed. I don't think that the Haditha murderers will be executed. They will get wet bus ticket consequences like Lt Calley. McVeigh took revenge for the attack on David Koresh's tribe in Waco which caused lots of children to die. The Haditha soldiers took revenge for an IED attack on them, which killed one of their blokes. Saddam took revenge for an attack on him [but was the only one who didn't kill children in the attack for which he was executed - other alleged attacks are irrelevant as there hadn't been a trial for them, a fine point which the pig-ignorant lynch mob mentality ignores].

What's especially funny is that the vaunted "freedom" for which the children in Haditha are being killed is looking more like the freedom of the USSR under Kremlin close quarters supervision. Big Brother is having a field day in the USA. fredoneverything.net
