OT: This is where we get into the contradictions. Bush campaigned as a social conservative -- control behaviour of those I designate as bad -- and an economic liberal -- reduce regulation -- and look where he has ended up.

IMO fascism/dictatorship is the ideal form of government from the point of view of capitalists, as long as it is pro-business rather than leftist.

The rhetoric of the Bush gang does not match their actions. They talk about reducing government, while increasing the power of the government to interfere in people's lives. They talk about security, while making the US less secure. They talk about democracy, while invading countries and installing puppet governments. They claim to uphold Christian values, but Christ would have seen them for what they are - the Roman imperialists.
