Frank, Do you think gross margin will improve? Do you think AMD will need cash ASAP? I have given up guessing. The only thing I can make sense of, is the fact that AMD has capacity and needs to use it. They are in that position, maybe they shouldn't be. What happened with the acquisition is done. Time will tell. I suspect they had to make plans to expand or plans to contract, or felt so. AMD has always gone through design cycles. I wouldn't presume to make prognostications. What do the OEMs that purchase from AMD have in mind when they make those decisions/deals. Ya makes your plans and places your bets, something like that...
