Interesting article in the G&M Sat 17 Feb - Report on Business about the differences between India and China. It supports the idea that it is India's time. It proposes that India has the management savvy and money whereas China has money but not the management. It implies that when it comes to management, China is like a box of bits and bites, everytime you take a handfull you're not quite certain what you are going to get.

It further states that "while China may be the clear winner for investments in new factories, India holds its own when it comes to drawing foreign money to its capital markets."

It also states that "Beyond the benefits of language and democracy, Indian companies are undeniably helped by the fact that a lot of international investors would rather put their money in the hands of Indian entrepreneurs than than Chinese ones."

Its a two page article, quite interesting.

Ernest
