This is my last post for the day (I am limited to 5 right
now).

I agree that AMD's quad will command higher ASP but as you
said, they will have to be superior to Intel's offering. As
for the 65 nam ramp, well, so far, nothing indicates that it
is spectacular.

It seems to me AMD is trying to convince the market that
energy efficiency is the important metric for servers. I think
AMD has a shot at selling the most energy efficient server
parts. This tells me, however, that Barcelona raw performance
will likely be inferior to what is expected by AMD longs here.
AMD might just have success in convincing the market that
it has to go for the most energy efficient processors, it is
possible. After all, they were successful in convincing
that clock speed wasn't the important metric in a chip.
