that's over $1B of additional revenue. Half that would be more than enough to make AMD profitable.

You are making unwarranted assumptions about AMD's Barcelona margins. Consider, for instance, the dreadful yields they will have due to the size of the part.

Finally, if digitimes is right, and Barcelona slipped to "H2" from "mid 2007", it'll be an even smaller percentage.

Of course, AMD says there will be no impact until Q4, so perhaps we should accept that.
