This is a key reason why so many Democrats now oppose Bush on Iraq IMHO.

The Zionists -- who account for half the Democratic party's funding base -- now have bigger fish to fry.

Democracy Now radio about a week ago, during Amy Goodman's hour, she played a tape of Ron Paul speaking in The House.
It was like hearing the proverbial voice in the wilderness, there he was eloquently elaborating that the move to pass resolutions against Bush and Iraq was but a smokescreen, a sleight of hand movement, to keep one from seeing the focus is now Iran, and pursuing a war with Iran.He was speaking that the issue that had to be front and center now was the matter of blocking Bush from going to war with Iran
Kudos for Amy G. playing the tape, but she was probably one of but a few that were listening to him.Max

P.S. Pelosi and Hillary did made token statements each saying that if Bush wants to go to war with Iran he is wrong in thinking he doesn't need congressional approval.
Hillary's statement included the mention, that she isn't saying going to war with Iran is something she is neccessarily against, but it must go through congress.
But in both the case of Pelosi and H.Clinton they failed to establish the legality they had in mind as to why Bush couldn't do this under his "carte blanche" to fight a war against terrorism.
Nor did they express any need to seek a resolution clearly ruling Bush had to have congressional approval regards any action against Iran.
