Tim Hardaway should be concerned about being on a team with a gay man and sharing the locker room with someone who could possibility be an Aids carrier and risk getting AIDS.

Fact is that AIDS can be transmitted by means other than gay sex.

I think if you check women are the fastest growing group with AIDS. It is a common misconception that AIDS is a gay disease, and it is seen that way only in North America.
The reality is that casual sex is dangerous with ANY partner straight or gay. And blood from anyone should be suspect. One of the problems caused by the religious right, is that many people are misinformed, uninformed or just mistaken. Any handling of anyone who is bleeding should be under sterile conditions. There is a reason that hospitals are gloving up and changing gloves for every patient. Unless it is your child or your spouse and you know for sure they are not positive, never take a risk.

Think about the ravenously heterosexual Magic Johnson. he wasn't gay and was just as dangerous in the locker room.

When Magic Johnson announced he was HIV+ the medical profession said "not to worry".
